It's official...God really loves me!
I don't know about you, but there are definitely times in my life where everything seems to start falling apart. Ok, I'm exaggerating, I still have a great family, great friends, and an amazing boyfriend. But like I said in my last entry, I've been really having a hard time at work. And it's frustrating because I'm at work more then not, it's obviously a major part of my life, and frankly I've been hating it, and dreading going there. So I started looking for something new. And I went to a couple places but nothing was really what I wanted. So yesterday, I decided to look up the word dentist on dexonline and randomly call a few. So I ended up calling three and guess what? Two of them were hiring for front office positions! So I went on an interview today for the first one. Now, I have learned that it's ok to be really specific with God when it comes to what I want. I've been praying for a front office job that is only 4 days a week, that has good pay, with benefits, and something close to my house. I really thought it'd be fun to work in a pediatric dentist office, but that was negotiable. Well, it just so happens that my interview today was with a pedo dentist. I was soo nervous going into it. I just wanted it to be so perfect. I'm tired of looking for something new, and even more tired of working at my current job. The office that I went to is only five minutes from my house, in this really nice building so the signs were looking good. I went into the office and it was absolutely adorable. There are actually two front desk positions and the girl I'd be working with is really nice, young, and cute. So I had my interview with Connie and let me tell you it couldn't have gone better! They use the same program that I use now, which seemed a major bonus, they're open four days a week, they offer both medical insurance and a 401k plan. And the best part is that they are strong Christians, they pray every morning in the daily staff meeting (but they don't force staff members to if they aren't comfortable), and they go on a missions trip to Mexico once a year to do free dental work on the children there! How cool is that? It's a very laid back environment, and the people (from what I can tell) are soo sweet. Oh and the office manager homeschooled her kids too so she thought that it was neat that I did that. Also there were a lot of similarities between my current office, and this one. So I think that I totally nailed it. She said that they have one more interview tomorrow with a lady from a temp agency that they've worked with in the past. Hopefully it doesn't go too good with her! But Connie said that she set up the interview before I called so at least there's that. If I don't hear from them tomorrow I'll call. But oh my gosh! It has everything that I've asked for, and so much more. If this is God's plan, then He's done an amazing job! If not, then whatever's coming is going to be better then this, which is an exciting thought too. So I'll be praying about this...I really want it though!! I'll be sure to keep you all updated on any further developments!!!
